All work involving irrigation and/or bridge work shall be completed no later than March 15, 2025, unless otherwise approved by the irrigation district. All other work shall be completed in its entirety on or before March 31, 2025. The completion dates are predicated on the intent of ACHD to issue a Notice to Proceed to the Contractor on or about January 27, 2025. ACHD shall be entitled to Liquidated Damages of $1,000.00 for each calendar day of delay in the completion of the work. A delay on one portion of the project does not justify delays on other portions of the project. It is the Bidder's responsibility to check for Addenda before submitting bids. Proposals must be accompanied by an original or photocopy or electronic version, e.g. PDF, FAX, etc. of certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond (collectively referred to hereafter as "Bid Security") issued by a surety authorized to issue such bonds in the State of Idaho, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal submitted. The apparent low-cost responsive Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bond(s) for the faithful performance of the contract and supply the necessary insurance documents as prescribed in the ITB.
