The services include Construction Inspection and Construction Administration services for the East Main Street Area Improvement project. in Portage County with a project length of approximately 0.90 miles. The project is located on East Main Street (SR 59) in the City of Kent, between Willow Street and Horning Road. It includes reconstruction of the pavement with the addition of a landscaped median, two roundabouts, lighting, traffic signals, signing and marking, curb, sidewalks, drive aprons, shared use path, bus pull offs and shelters, and EV charging stations. The selected consultant/consultant team shall provide all management, inspection, reporting and material testing. This is an ODOT local-let LPA project. The project will be constructed using phase construction while maintaining traffic. c. Construction is estimated to begin in July, 2025 and end in October, 2028. Estimated Construction Cost: $21,600,000 Required Prequalification, Combination of Prime Consultant and Subconsultants: COST ACCOUNTING SYSTEM - Unlimited (Prime Consultant Only) PROJECT INSPECTOR 1 TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND LIGHTING INSPECTOR SOILS AND AGGREGATE INSPECTOR CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER LEVEL 1 CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT FIRM It is anticipated that the selected Consultant will be authorized to proceed by April, 2025. Suspended or Debarred Firms Firms included on the current Federal list of firms suspended or debarred are not eligible for selection. Selection Procedures The LPA will directly select a consultant based on the Letter of Interest (Lol).
