Site work and paving for a road / highway in Kent, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Principal Items of Work Includes Construction of Pavement Repairs, Structure Repairs, Pavement Resurfacing, Pavement Replacement and Concrete Repairs. The Engineer's Estimate of Probable Costs for This Work is Approximately $1,850,000. Each Proposal Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond in the Amount of 10 Percent of the Price Bid. The Bidder to Whom the Contract is Awarded Will Be Required to Furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in the Sum of 100 Percent of the Contract Price. Each Proposal Must Contain the Full Name of the Party or Parties Submitting the Proposal and All Persons Interested Herein. Each Bidder Must Submit Evidence of Its Experiences on Projects of Similar Size and Complexity. The Service Director Reserves the Right to Increase or Decrease Quantities and to Reject Any or All Bids, and to Waive Informalities. No interpretation ofthe meaning ofPlans, Specifications or other pre-Bid documents will be made to any Bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation should be FAXED to 1-330- 673-1893, addressed to the City Engineer, Service Administration Complex at 930 Overholt Road, Kent, Ohio 44240 and to be given consideration must be received at least (3) three days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids.
