Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Newbern, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 674-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Restroom and Site Improvements. Project Location: Oakview Recreation Park; 614 Oakview Dr., Newbern, TN Bids will be received for the following Work: a. General Building Construction. b. Plumbing Construction. c. Electrical Construction Effective January 1, 2011, a masonry subcontractor must be licensed with an "LMC" classification in order to bid or to be listed on the outside of bid envelope as a Licensed Masonry Contractor (LMC) when the masonry portion is $100,000 or more ( including materials and labor ). The BC - 9 or BC will not be acceptable. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond, bonds, or insurance surety. A certified check or bank draft, payable to The City of Newbern , U.S. Government bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. The City of Newbern reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding whenever such rejection or waiver is in the interest of the Owner. Document Notes: Additional complete sets may be purchased at their own expense. Such deposit will be 100% refunded to the persons who return the plans, specifications, and other documents in good condition within 10 days after the bid opening. The successful bidders deposit will be retained . A digital copy of the plans and specifications are available upon request after the purchase of a bid set. Each Sub - Contractor, supplier, etc. other than General Contractors will pay $ 30 0.00 which is fully refundable to TLM Associates, Inc. to receive one (1) set of plans and specifications. Additional complete sets may be purchased at their own expense. Questions from bidders must be directed to the Engineer or Owner as soon as possible to allow sufficient time for preparation and distribution of addenda.
