Site work for a water / sewer project in Newbern, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be bid on is as follows: o Replacement of 4,300 ft of asbestos cement water main with a 6-inch PVC water main. o The replacement of 41 water service lines o Installation of 9 fire hydrant assemblies and 8 water valves o The allotted time for construction is 180 calendar days This project is being supported with the Treasury, Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Fund grant funding. Therefore, certain restrictions and other federal requirements attach to this opportunity. A bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of his bid and shall, before entering into the work of said contract, be licensed as a contractor of the City of Newbern. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Question Deadline 04/11/2025
