Separate sealed bids are requested for the Newbern Library Connected Community Facility - Addition & Renovation Package at 220 E. Main St., Newbern, TN 38059. Bids will be received at the Newbern Public Library, and a mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the project location. Relevant contract documents including plans and specifications may be examined at designated locations and can be obtained for a fee, refundable to non-bidders or unsuccessful bidders upon return of sets in good condition. Each bid must be accompanied by security in the required amount and form. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors under Tennessee state law and qualified for the project type. Specific attention is called to required conditions of employment, minimum wage rates under the contract, and compliance with Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days of opening.
