Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Seatac, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 101,000-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
If all portions of the civic plaza are approved, it will feature a 56,000 sqft city hall, 45,000 sqft justice center, parking structure, and 35,000 sqft public plaza and sally port. A location should be selected this month. As of December 17, 2025, this project is currently in the conceptual design phase. An RFQ for an architect should be issued in the first half of 2026. Construction is expected to begin in late 2027. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* the development of a new City Hall and Civic Campus and is soliciting interest from firms to provide, on an as-needed basis, financial advisory services related to capital project financing, fiscal planning, and debt issuance activities, including bond issues and potential bank loans in support of the predevelopment and site acquisition phases of the project. Questions regarding the RFQ shall be submitted in writing via email to Gwen Voelpel, Deputy City Manager at gvoelpel@seatacwa.gov, no later than December 17 at 5pm. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
