Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Jasper, Alberta. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
This is a two-stage selection process. Bidders responding to this selection process are requested to submit a bid in two stages. This posting is the first stage (Stage 1) of a two-stage solicitation process: the first stage will evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers; the second stage (Stage 2) will invite the qualified suppliers to provide further qualifications and a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of contract in Stage 2 the pre-qualification list will expire and will not be used in any other solicitation. The qualification list will expire within 180 days or upon award of a contract in Stage 2, whichever is earlier, and the prequalification list will not be used in any other solicitation. Parks Canada has a requirement for a Design-Build Contractor to construct from ten (10) to thirty (30) permanent single detached housing units with two (2) to four (4) bedrooms per unit at Whistlerville Staff Housing area, adjacent to Whistler's Campground. Completion by the fall of 2025 following utility improvements to service the area (under separate contract). Housing units must be four season and architecturally fitting for the park setting. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between over & above $5,000,001, Taxes extra.
