Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Owatonna, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and water / sewer project.
Question Deadline 12/13/2024 Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Work include General Site Requirements: Temporary storm water controls. Erosion and sediment control measures. Construction staking and survey documentation work. Construction materials testing services. Soil stabilization and/or vegetation to all disturbed areas in Phase III Demolition Landfill and intermediate cover placement areas in Phase IV MSW Landfill. Waste Grading: Excavation of 105,000 cys waste excavation from the Phase III Demolition Landfill. Relocation of excavated waste to onsite Phase IV MSW Landfill. Grading and compaction of relocated waste. Intermediate Soil Cover: Placement of a minimum 12-inch compacted general fill soils for intermediate cover over a portion of relocated waste in Phase IV MSW Landfill after waste relocation is completed. Intermediate cover shall be comprised of 8-inches of general fill overlain with a 4-inch layer of topsoil. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the Owner.
