The Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit District (SMART) is a government transit agency that owns, maintains, and operates passenger rail service in Sonoma County and Marin County in the State of California. SMART is also a common carrier that owns, operates, and maintains freight rail services within Marin County, Napa County, and Sonoma County. SMART is seeking bids from qualified suppliers to furnish, deliver, and unload a quantity of three hundred and sixty (360) New Railroad Ties that are 7" x 9" x 9' with Creosote and End Plates to the SMART Freight Depot located in Schellville, CA within the County of Sonoma. This purchase will be funded using a State of California grant and local funds. Supplier shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
