2024 North Commerce Streets Project Project Elgin Economic Development Authority, Po Box 310, Elgin, Ok 73538 (580-492-5777) The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Provide Bonds, Insurance to Meet Statutory Requirements and Builder's Risk Insurance as Set Forth in the Contract Documents Risk Insurance as Set Forth in the Contract Documents. The Elgin Economic Development Authority Reserves the Right to Reject and Refuse All Bids. Elgin Economic Development Authority is accepting three different type ofbid alternatives for the construction ofWatts Rd., you may bid on A. Chip & Seal, B. Asphalt or C. Concrete, you may bid on any ofthese alternates or all ofthem. The Public Trust will go over the dollar amount ofthe bids for each type ofconstruction and then will choose by the bid amount and what construction will be best for 2024 North Commerce Project. 4,000 PSI concrete shall be used to construct the road, #4 Grade 60 rebar shall be used, Rebar shall be placed on 18" centers, The road must be constructed i with a 2" crown through the entire: length of the road. Contractor must provide testing of concrete Install a 1/2" expansion joint every 400 ft and one at the end of the 1,300' Contractor must saw cut center line (14' from road edge) throughout entire length of the road.
