The purpose of this ITB is for a Contractor to complete all work to construct rough grading per bid documents for the future Sports Complex for the SJSO Police Athletic League (PAL). The site location for the new complex is located at 2825 Allen Nease Road, Elkton, FL 32033. This facility will include rough grading for four (4) natural turf football fields, one (1) artificial turf football field with track, multipurpose area and all associated infrastructure. Any and all questions related to this project shall be directed, via email, to the Designated Point of Contact. Questions are due on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, no later than four oclock (4:00 PM) EST Any and all questions and/or inquiries shall solely be directed to Rachel Graves, via email at rlgraves@sjso.org If Contractor fails to achieve Substantial Completion or Final Completion of the Work by its applicable date, then the SJSO shall be entitled to withhold from any amounts otherwise due Contractor or to be paid as a debt due the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred ($1,500.00) per day for each and every calendar day of unexcused delay as Liquidated Damages. The SJSO reserves the right to reject any or all Bids that are not materially responsive to the requirements provided herein, or if it is determined to be in the best interest of the SJSO. The SJSO may also waive any minor formality or irregularity of any submitted Bid, provided the minor formality or irregularity does not materially impact the submitted Bid An interpretation, correction or change of the ITB Documents will be made by Addendum and shall be subsequently posted via DemandStar. Interpretations, corrections, or changes of the ITB Documents made in any other manner will not be binding, and Bidders must not rely upon such interpretations, corrections, or changes. No change will be made to the ITB Documents by the SJSO less than seven (7) days prior to the submittal deadline for Bids.
