The Project includes the following Work at two Project Locations: 1. Hillside Road North Site: 210 LF of town road reconstruction including 49.5 LF of 19'-0" x 6'-1" aluminum box culvert with headwall and wingwalls. 2. Hillside Road South Site: 200 LF of town road reconstruction including 54 LF of 8'-9" x 2'-6" aluminum box culvert with headwall and wingwalls. Question Deadline 12/12/2024 Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The anticipated substantial completion date is 40 calendar days following the start of construction and final completion date is five additional calendar days following substantial completion or October 31, 2025 (whichever comes first). No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates.
