Dane County is inviting Bids for construction services to provide a new chain-link fence and rolling gate around the perimeter of the Albion Highway Garage Facility. Assuming a start date of June 23, 2025, Public Works requires this project to be completed by July 10, 2025 Currently, the Albion Highway Garage Facility has no fence or means of controlled entry to the site. The project requires the installation of a 6-foot-high standard chain link fence, with galvanized steel construction and security measures to deter climbing. The project also includes installation of a 45-footlong standard chain link rolling gate and 25-foot-long standard swinging gate. The gate will be manually locked and will not include any automatic or electrically components. The fence must be installed entirely within property lines (setback detail on drawings), and no equipment or materials may extend beyond the designated area during construction. Any necessary offsets due to property conflicts will be determined at the pre bid meeting, and pre-construction if necessary.
