Reference Number 0000369868 Delivery Point 4175 Castleton Court Castle Rock, Colorado United States 80109 The work to be performed under this agreement includes the maintenance and repair of Town owned traffic signals, flashers, and beacons. For providing locating services for underground electric and signal communications fiber maintained by the Town's Traffic Division. These services will support the Town's requirement to field locate underground infrastructure as requests for locates come from the State's utility notification center for Colorado (Colorado811). The Town of Castle Rock (Town) Traffic Division is seeking a company to provide underground locating and field marking services in support of the Town's requirement to locate underground utilities when requested through the Colorado811). The infrastructure included under this service includes all electric and communications fiber associated with Town network, and Town owned street lights and traffic signals. The Town currently owns and operates over 720 street lights and 43 traffic signals. Maps are included that show the locations of these facilities in Appendices A through D. The general location of the majority of the underground infrastructure associated with these facilities is known, and are shown on the included map. There is a portion of the street lighting system in the downtown area where the location of the underground electric lines is not fully known. Currently, the Town's Traffic Division averages approximately 250 tickets per month from Colorado811 with approximately 60 per month that require field locating and marking. This number fluctuates each month depending on the level of construction activity occurring. The majority of these locate tickets require field locating and marking of less than 1000 linear feet of infrastructure per ticket. The contract period for providing these services will be one year with the potential for two renewals, unless terminated by either party. The Evaluation Committee may choose to select a firm from the written proposals, but can also hold interviews with some or all of the Proposers, depending upon the Committee's evaluation of the proposals. If interviews are held, they will be evaluated by the same criteria as the written proposals. The written submittal and oral interview will be evaluated as described in the Award Evaluation Criteria (see Section 5).
