On-Call Spot Litter Pickup Services in St. Mary's County This Invitation for Bids (IFB) is issued to procure the goods or services, as specified in this Section 2, from a contract between the successful bidder(s) and the State of Maryland ("State") to provide open-ended, on-call Spot Litter Pickup services for roadways under the purview of the Leonardtown Maintenance Shop. The Contractor shall provide sufficient equipment and manpower. There shall be a minimum of four (4) laborers and one (1) working crew foreman utilized per services each day The Contractor shall provide a Truck Mounted Attenuator, and one (1) operator as needed, and were identified by the Contract Manager, or their Authorized Representative. The work on this project shall conform to the Maryland Department of Transportation, State Highway Administration's Specifications entitled, "Standard Specifications for Construction and Materials Book" revisions thereof, or additions thereto, (see the "Notice to Contractor - Request for Information" for the version applicable to this Contract); and the provisions included in this Invitation for Bids. In the case of discrepancy between the Standard Specifications and all other provisions contained in the Contract, the Contract Manager will be the sole authority as to the proper procedure to follow. Prior to the start of any work under the Contract, the Contractor shall furnish the Contract Manager with the name, address, and phone number, and email address of two (2) individuals in his/her firm who can be contacted by the Contract Manager at any time for requesting of services and/or to advise of revisions to established work schedules. At the request of either party to this Contract, and prior to the initiation of work, a conference may be held for the purpose of identifying and clarifying the specific methods and materials to be employed. All items and quantities in this IFB are provided for use when and as directed by the Contract Manager. The quantities for these items are established for the purpose of obtaining a bid price. The quantities for these items may be increased, decreased, or deleted entirely from the Contract by the Contract Manager. No pre-bid meeting will be held for this advertisement.
