The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment needed to demo and dispose of approximately 3,430 square feet of existing Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT) and carpet flooring and approximately 950 lineal feet of vinyl cove base and provide and install approximately 1,140 square feet of new carpet, approximately 2,295 square feet of new luxury vinyl tile (LVT) and approximately 950 lineal feet of new vinyl cove base The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide flooring services to the VDOT's Luray AHQ Construction Office Building, 551 Mechanic Street, Luray, VA 22835. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: From date of award through June 15, 2025 (nonrenewable) The Commonwealth may make such reasonable investigations as deemed proper and necessary to determine the ability of the bidder to perform the services/furnish the goods and the bidder shall furnish to the Commonwealth all such information and data for this purpose as may be requested. The Commonwealth reserves the right to inspect bidder's physical facilities prior to award to satisfy questions regarding the bidder's capabilities. The Commonwealth further reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigations of, such bidder fails to satisfy the Commonwealth that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to provide the services and/or furnish the goods contemplated therein.
