Project Description: This project consists of installing approximately 1,900 lf of new 8 water main and all appurtenances required for a complete project meeting City of Gering Standards and Specifications. Work will also consist with the installation of service lines by excavation/boring, removal and installation of curb & gutter, sidewalks, ADA ramp installation, and street surfacing removal and replacement meeting the plans and specifications. During the visit the Bidder must not disturb any ongoing operations at the Site. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. TIME OF COMPLETION AND LIQUIDATED DAMAGES The successful Bidder is allowed 165 (with alternate) or 135 calendar days to complete the Project from the date of Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $1,000.00 for each consecutive calendar day for which the work is not substantially complete and $1,000.00 for each consecutive calendar day for which all of the work listed on the punch list is not complete. Anticipated Notice to Proceed will be on March 15 th , 2025 . Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the work. B.
