The EECC roof project includes the restoration of all seams and projections on the sloped metal roof system (section G) as outlined in the attached Garland Canada Inc. roof report (attached as appendix a). It is the Towns intent to obligate Garland Canada Inc for the full warranty available on the product. The contractor is responsible to coordinate with Garland Canada Inc to complete the work, including all necessary inspections and repairs, to the satisfaction of Garland Canada Inc to ensure the installation meets all conditions required to obtain a warranty guaranteed from Garland Cananda Inc. The Contractor is responsible to provide the owner with the warranty documentation from Garland Cananda Inc. The scope of the project generally includes the following and shall conform to Ontario Provincial Standards (OPSS) and Ontario Building Codes (OBC): Cleaning of the areas of work and preparing the substrate for restoration materials Reinforcing all seam lines and penetrations using a butyl/fabric high strength and high adhesion seam tape Applying a base and top coat of elastomeric urethane based waterproofing coating to all areas of reinforcement All required scaffolding, lifts, cranes, or ladders required for the works shall be included in the applicable unit price. The contractor is required to accommodate and protect any and all existing infrastructure on the roofs.
