The City of West Jordan Parks Division is requesting bids for the supply and installation of Playground Soft Fall Materials or IPEMA-certified equivalents. The materials will be delivered and installed at various park locations within West Jordan, Utah. Projects will be prioritized based on the order outlined in Attachment A - Cost Schedule. The City may accept pre-approved equal material to the specifications listed below. Pre-approval must be requested on the U3P Q&A Board during the Q&A period. Acceptance of alternate material will be posted in an addendum The installation of the soft fall material or IPEMA Certified Equal may begin on 02/10/2025 and must be completed by 03/21/2025. Questions arising subsequent to the issuance of this bid, that could have a significant impact on the responses to the bid, should be submitted in the bid Question and Answer section Event Number # WJXX22XXXX01, on Utah Public Procurement Place. All such questions should be received by Thursday, December 12, 2024 @ 10:00 a.m. MST. Answers to questions will be posted on the Utah Public Procurement Place which will then email the answer to all Vendors that downloaded the bid. The City's maximum budget for this project is $60,000.00 and it is anticipated that these funds will be spent in entirety. Our goal is to have the soft fall material or IPEMA Certified Equal installed in as many playgrounds as possible with the available budget. Any damage to landscaping or structures during the delivery and installation of the soft fall material or IPEMA Certified Equal shall be repaired at the Contractor's expense. The soft fall material or IPEMA Certified Equal to be installed at various playgrounds locations throughout the City must to be IPEMA certified. o The soft fall material or IPEMA Certified Equal shall be installed 2 inches below the playground border. o The soft fall material or IPEMA Certified Equal must be delivered and installed at each property in the priority order listed in Attachment A - Cost Schedule. o The City's maximum budget for this project is $60,000.00 and it is anticipated that these funds will be spent in entirety. Our goal is to have the soft fall material or IPEMA Certified Equal installed in as many playgrounds as possible with the available budget. o Any damage to landscaping or structures during the delivery and installation of the soft fall material or IPEMA Certified Equal shall be repaired at the Contractor's expense. o Contractor shall verify the quantity of soft fall material or IPEMA Certified Equal installed at each property. Individual invoices per property will be required and must list the yards of material installed.
