Community Transit is launching a Bus Stop Improvement Project within a larger Bus Stop Program, whereby the goal will be to increase transit parity with car travel by improving accessibility, safety, and comfort for customers waiting at CT bus stops. Most of CT's approximately 1,600 bus stops lack amenities or accessibility and would benefit from improvements at, or leading to/from, the stop. Community Transit is seeking technical scope proposals from professional Architectural and Engineering firms for design services, including implementation planning, surveying, Conceptual Design, detailed design, permitting assistance, and stakeholder engagement support for CT bus stops within this Bus Stop Improvement Project. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
