The City of Placentia is seeking a qualified vendor for the remediation of an existing drainage channel within Parque De Los Vaqueros. Payment Bond 100.00% Performance Bond 100.00% Question Deadline 12/19/2024 at 10:00 AM PT Online Q&A Yes 1. The Contractor will over excavate and remove 3 feet of soil on either side of the existing concrete channel and remove approximately 6 inches of soil below the flowline of the existing concrete channel. The existing concrete channel shall be protected in place with substantially damaged portions replaced as needed. 2. The Contractor will fill any voids along or below the existing concrete channel with native or imported soil, level and compact the existing subgrade to a minimum 90% relative compaction. 3. The Contractor will place a filter fabric weed barrier over the existing exposed soil. 4. The Contractor will then place 6-inch rock to a minimum 1-foot depth within the excavated areas along either side of the existing concrete channel. Rock shall be installed to form a stable structure with minimum voids and in contact with adjacent rocks.
