Madera Unified School District ("MUSD") will receive sealed bids for ELOP Track and Field Upgrades at Thomas Jefferson Middle school. This project is subject to prevailing wage requirements and compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR and may at any time require contractors/subcontractors to upload electronic certified payroll records on the DIR website. Bidders shall be required to have a valid class "A or B" Contractor's License. All general contractors and all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire sprinkler sub-contractors will be required to pre-qualify to bid on this project. Prequalification applications are due by Tuesday, January 07, 2025 @ 10:00:00 a.m. An updated list of prequalified subcontractors will be posted to the MUSD website on Thursday, January 9, 2025. The Estimated Cost for this project is $2,700,000. The District has allotted 136 calendar days for the project from the date of the Notice to Proceed. The District anticipates construction starting approximately February 11, 2025 with a completion date of June 27, 2025. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check , or bidders bond in an amount not less than ten (10%) percent of the total bids made payable to MUSD.
