The work per the contract documents, dated December 12, 2024, and any addenda thereto, includes the removal and land application of lime sludge from the east and middle lagoon located at the City's Water Treatment Plant, 312 W. Main Street. The lagoons contain lime sludge, which is estimated to be 12% to 25% solids. The contractor shall be responsible for all phases of sludge removal. This includes loading, weighing, transporting, and redistributing the lime sludge in accordance with EPA-approved methods as outlined in the City of Westerville's Sludge Management Plan and the Ohio EPA Beneficial Use General Permit.
