Each bid shall contain the full name and address of each person or company interested in the same and shall be accompanied by bid security in the form of (i) a bid guaranty and contract bond in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Sections 153.54 and 153.571 naming the Columbus and Franklin County Metropolitan Park District as obligee for the total amount of the Bid, including all add alternates, or (ii) a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, including all add alternates, as prescribed by Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54. Metro Parks reserves the right to accept the lowest and best bid, the right to waive irregularities in any proposal, and the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request for information which shall reach the Owner at least seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of Bids. By submitting its Bid, each Bidder represents and agrees, based upon its careful and diligent review of the Bidding Documents, that it is not aware of any conflicts, inconsistencies, errors or omissions in the Bidding Documents for which it has not timely notified the Owner. Bidders who fail to timely provide notification and to request clarification will be expected to overcome such conditions without additional compensation.
