The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as “VDOT”) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish, deliver, and set up one (1) pre-built wooden storage building to the Kerrs Creek AHQ located at 1027 Fredericksburg Rd, Rockbridge Baths, VA 24473 which is within the VDOT Staunton District, an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia, in accordance with the specifications contained herein. Period of Contract: One Time Purchase to Be Delivered on or Before February 28, 2025 (Non-renewable). Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Rebecca Smith Coburn at Rebecca. Coburn@VDOT.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00 PM EST on January 9, 2025. SPECIFICATIONS / CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS: A. SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall furnish, deliver, and set up one (1) pre-built wooden storage building to the Kerrs Creek AHQ located at 1027 Fredericksburg Rd, Rockbridge Baths, VA 244735 per the specifications listed below. The buildings shall be in accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions contained in this solicitation. The Commonwealth reserves the right to obtain technical data and to request clarifications when deemed necessary. Failure on the part of the Bidder to provide any of the aforementioned documentation within the timeframe specified when requested may be caused to declare the bid as non-responsive. B. SPECIFICATIONS: 1. One (1) pre-built gable style wooden building 14 ft wide x 28 ft long. 2. The unit shall have PerformMAX floor. 3. The unit shall have Certainteed Landmark Designer Shingles, color: Weathered Wood. 4. The unit shall have painted LP lap siding, and corner molding; Sherwin Williams color: Farro, SW9103. 5. The unit shall have (2) two painted garden gable vents; Sherwin Williams color: Farro, SW9103. 6. The unit shall have one (1) painted 8'x7' garage door with one row of glass panels at the 14' end; Sherwin Williams color: Sealskin, SW7675. 8. The unit shall have one (1) painted Right Hand 36"x80" fiberglass door with upper portion having a glass panel, installed on the right side if you are facing the garage door, 36" from the end. Sherwin Williams Color: Sealskin, SW7675. 9. Pricing shall include all costs including shipping, delivery and setup. No additional charges will be allowed. 10. This unit shall be installed on VDOT supplied concrete pad.
