Northern Health Authority (NHA, Owner) is requesting tenders from qualified contractors for the replacement of major electrical equipment in Electrical Rooms 1 and 6, and the subsequent removal of medium voltage equipment from those areas. The work to be undertaken generally includes the following: 1. Replace existing Non-Essential Switchboard NE in the powerhouse with a new 2000A 600V switchboard and provide new breakers to match existing equipment. 2. Replace all major electrical equipment including transformers, panels and switchboards in Electrical room 6. 3. Replace all major electrical equipment including transformers, panels and switchboards in Electrical room 1. 4. Provide new feeders from powerhouse into rooms 1 and 6 to facilitate eliminating medium voltage switchgear from rooms 1 and 6. 5. Mechanical cooling systems for Electrical Room 1, Data Center 3 and Electrical Room 6 6. Construction of separation wall between Room 1 transformer and adjacent communication rack. 7. Removal and disposal of electrical equipment made obsolete. 8. Infection prevention and control to suit construction activities. 9. Temporary generator connection for Jubilee Lodge to facilitate power shutdowns. 10.Throughout this project careful coordination with NHA staff is required to ensure minimal disruption to the facility. All power shutdowns or interruptions are to be coordinated well in advance. Contractor is to complete all change overs, switching etc. as approved by NHA, with an expected maximum of 6 hours per shut down, with critical areas to be reduced duration. 11.Provide a complete as built information package with cut sheets of all equipment, marked up drawings showing as built layout including device locations, conduit runs, programming information, connection diagrams and troubleshooting information. Provide two hard copies of all information and one digital copy on USB drive. 12.All equipment and labour to be covered by a minimum one-year warranty on labour and a three-year warranty on equipment.
