Site work for a golf course in Tahoe City, California. Completed plans call for site work for a golf course.
The work to be performed for this project consists of all labor, material, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to install a new irrigation system including a weather station, controls, main lines, laterals, all connections, sprinkler heads, electrical, excavation, best management practices (BMPs), and site and pavement restoration as shown on the construction drawings and set forth in the contract documents. Work will be performed sequentially to maintain maximum usage of the golf course during constructio The successful Bidder shall not pay less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the Director of the DIR. The successful Bidder shall possess the following valid California contractor s license classification(s): California Class A at the time of the bid submittal. Bidder s license shall remain in effect at the time of the bid award and throughout the term of this contract. Bids must be made on the official Bid Proposal Form furnished with the contract documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond consisting of certified check, cashier s check, or satisfactory corporate surety bid bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount and made payable to Tahoe City Public Utility District. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as Bid for Tahoe City Public Utility District, (Project Name), and the envelope should bear on the outside, the name, address and contractor's license number of the Bidder. District reserves the right, in its discretion, to accept the lowest responsible bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in any bid or the bid process, to determine the responsibility of any Bidder, and/or to determine which bid is most advantageous to the District. After the opening of bids, bids may only be withdrawn in strict accordance with the provisions of Public Contract Code section 5100, et seq . Bids must remain valid for a period of 45 days following the bid opening. Award of the bid is subject to the availability of funds.
