Reference Number 0000369996 Bid Intent Not Available The City of Rifle seeks proposals from qualified firms for the construction of a Second Pond Inlet for the Rifle Regional Water Purification Plant. The original location of the inlet was installed in 2006, but river morphology has changed in the last 18 years. Construction will take place in the Winter during low water. The project will consist of a new cast in place inlet structure, with a tie-in to an existing bypass line, as well as improvements to the existing bypass line. The Work will include all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools and materials for the construction of a new cast-in-place concrete inlet structure that will draw raw water from the Colorado River. Work within both the Colorado River and the City's Pond will be required to complete the project scope. Construction of cofferdams and associated dewatering operations are likely necessary. Project work includes construction of the cast-in-place concrete inlet structure complete with stainless steel gates, aluminum railing, aluminum grating, and stop logs along with new 24" HDPE piping and related valves.
