The CITY OF PACIFICA ("City") is requesting proposals intends to seek and obtain professional to provide tree maintenance service and emergency tree maintenance service to various areas of the city. The selection will be based on overall price, services, performance and reliability of the proposers. The City's needs are outlined in the following Request for Proposal ("RFP"). The scope of work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, tools, labor and incidentals as required by the Contract Documents, General Requirements, and Specific Requirements for the above stated project. The contractor will perform the maintenance work described as well as provide emergency tree work services when needed as indicated in Cost Proposal Schedule "A" and "B". The Contractor will provide an itemized bid showing the maintenance cost for each group of trees described. The city will have the right to proceed with all or part of the work described. Question Deadline 01/10/2025 at 5:00 PM PT Questions related to this RFP should be submitted to the City via online. The Contractor shall begin work within fifteen (15) working days from the date the City sends written Notice To Proceed. Initial contract period shall be for four (4) years, renewable annually thereafter for three (3) consecutive one-year periods, at the City's option, and upon mutually agreeable terms. Contract shall begin no later than 15 days from the awarded contractor's receipt of annual contract. The City reserves the right to amend, withdraw, and cancel this RFP. The City also reserves the right to reject all responses to this RFP at any time prior to agreement execution.
