Site work and paving for a civil project in Sumpter, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
The proposed work consists of earthwork, pulverize and relay, base aggregate dense, HMA pavement, culvert pipes, guardrail, mobilization, traffic control, finishing items, and any incidental items necessary to complete the work. Any questions may be directed to the Engineer: Mr. Scott Whitsett, P.E., Jewell Associates Engineers, Inc., (608) 341-8239. The bidder, if awarded the contract, the contractor must not start before May 1, 2025 and must complete construction no later than October 15, 2025. Coordinate with the Township two weeks prior to the start of construction. Upon receipt of the notice to proceed, the contractor may begin construction. The contractor is responsible for providing the engineer and owner with a proposed work schedule, to be included with the bid submittal. Liquidated damages may be assessed to the contractor at the rate of $1,000 per calendar day if construction is not completed October 15, 2025.
