Remodeling of a municipal facility in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 11,664-square-foot municipal facility.

In general, the work consists of: interior renovation to 11,664 square feet on the first, second, and third floors of the GEF I Building. Work includes demolition of demountable interior partitions. Construction of metal stud and drywall partitions with hollow metal frames and wood doors at offices and suites. Interior finishes at areas of work and carpet/base refresh. Removal and relocation of ceiling tiles to accommodate mechanical and electrical work. Owner to reconfigure furniture layout. Add electrical power and data to partitions and add card readers. Relocated light fixtures, exit signs, and fire alarms to accommodate reconfigured spaces. Mechanical work includes additional supply ductwork, diffusers, and transfer grilles to accommodate reconfigured spaces. The Owner will provide work by the Owner under separate contract. 1. Final interior painting of drywall, hollow metal frames, and plywood monitor panels. 2. Final staining of interior wood doors. 3. Electrical and data scope of work, refer to electrical (fire alarm and security by the contractor) 4. Owner to furnish vav controllers for HC to install and owner to provide final programming of controllers. Refer to mechanical 5. Carpet and base removal and disposal. 6. Carpet and base material and installation. 7. Owner to turn material only over to contractor for installation and related labor: hollow metal frames, wood doors, hardware. Glass and glazing of sidelites by contractor. 8. Contractor to coordinate time and access for work by owner and incorporate time to complete work in overall construction schedule. 9. Contractor to coordinate time and access for carpet removal and installation with owner's installer.
