The City of Searcy, Arkansas,will receive sealed bids to furnish various types of commercial kitchen equipment. The City encourages all small,minority and women business enterprises to submit bids. Encouragement is also made to allgeneral contractors that in theevent they subcontract portions ofthe work, consideration is given to the identified groups. Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed bid form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to City ofSearcy, Arkansas, in an amountnot less than 5% of the amount bid. The bid proposal and work of the proposed contract shall be in accordance with all applicable federal, state, City and local ordinances and regulations. Any bid may be rejected which contains material omissions or irregularities. Also, a bid may be rejected if it, in any manner, shall fail to conform to the conditions of the Bidding Requirements and Contract Documents. The Owner reserves the right towaive irregularities, reject bids,and choose the most qualified bidder for the project.
