Demolition and site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Searcy, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City reserves the right to reduce the total amount of work to be done as required by budget restraints. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to accept the proposal deemed to be for thebest interest of the City. The Project consists of the demolition of existing ballfields and appurtenances, asphalt, concrete and gravel demolition and removal, and the termination of associated utility services. Also, the construction of an earthen berm as outlined in the project plans. All proposals shall be on the forms within the specifications and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the "City of Searcy, 401 W. Arch Ave., Searcy, AR 72143" and marked "Proposal for Forward Searcy Site No. 1 Demolition." Proposals will be considered on the basis of cost, the bidder's financial responsibility, his equipment, and his past performance on similar projects. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
