The Maquoketa Community School District, 612 South Vermont Street, Maquoketa, IA 52062 intends to enter into a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contract for construction of the Maquoketa Community School District - Elementary School Addition and Renovation, 400 W Quarry Street, Maquoketa, IA 52060. The project entails the construction of a 46,000-square-foot addition to accommodate new preschool, kindergarten, first-grade, and special education classrooms. The addition will also feature administrative offices, restrooms, a gymnasium, and various support spaces to enhance functionality and accessibility. In tandem, the project includes a renovation of the existing 31,000-square-foot building. This scope includes second, third, and fourth-grade classrooms, a commercial kitchen and equipment, a multi-purpose room, a media center, and upgraded staff support areas. Also, included is associated site work to improve student drop-off zones, new sidewalks, and landscaping. Opinion of Probable Construction Costs: $14,500,000.00.
