Renovation of a multi-residential development in Methuen, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Work under the Contract consists of 1. All Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the Specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. 2. The Project shall consist of, but not limited to Renovations of bathrooms in eight apartment buildings on one site including removal and replacement of tub/shower surrounds, installation of new shower pans at designated units, replacement of tub/shower plumbing, replacement of toilets, replacement of mechanical exhaust fans, upgrades to electrical power and lighting, repairs and painting to walls and ceiling finishes, removal and replacement of resilient flooring The Project Consists of but Not Limited to: Renovations of Bathrooms in Eight Apartment Buildings on One Site Includ- Ing Demolition, Carpentry, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, Flooring and Painting/finishes Scopes of Work. The Work is Estimated to Cost $802,000.00. Bid Deposit is Not Required for Projects Advertised Under $50,000. Request for Waivers Must Be Sent to Eo- Hlc (Shanyan.li@mass.gov) 5 Calendar Days Prior to the General Bid Date. Bids Are Subject to M.g.l. C.149 44a-j & to Minimum Wage Rates as Required by M.g.l. C.149 26 to 27h Inclusive. This Project is Being Electronically Bid and Hard Copy Bids Will Not Be Accepted. Please Review the Instructions in the Bid Documents on How to Register as an Electronic Bidder. General Bidders Must Be Certified by the Division of Capital Asset Man- Agement and Maintenance (Dcamm) in the Following Category of Work, General Building Construction, and Must Submit a Current Dcamm Cer- Tificate of Eligibility and Signed Dcamm Prime/general Contractor Update Statement. Trades Resilient Flooring Painting Plumbing Heating / Ventilating / Air-conditioning (Hvac) Electrical Work General Bids and Sub-bids Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Deposit That is Not Less Than Five (5%) of the Greatest Possible Bid Amount (Including All Alternates) and Made Payable to the Methuen Housing Authority. The Combined Participation Benchmark Reserved for Such Enterprises Shall Not Be Less Than 13% of the Final Contract Price Including Accepted Alternates.
