The addalternate location will be Muster Grounds Retirement House based on available funding Requirements: o Contractors Licenses o Town of Abingdon Business Licenses o Town of Abingdon Building Permit - (Fee will be waived) o Certificate of Insurance o Follow all OSHA regulations. The NOTICE TO PROCEED shall be issued at the time of the execution of the Agreement by the OWNER. Should there be reasons why the NOTICE TO PROCEED cannot be issued within such period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the OWNER and BIDDER. If the NOTICE TO PROCEED has not been issued within the ten (10) day period or within the period mutually agreed upon, the BIDDER may terminate the Agreement without further liability on the part of either party. Separate the quote per side Detailed Description of Service: The Town of Abingdon is seeking quotations from Virginia Licensed Contractors to perform repointing of brick at Fields Penn House and Retirement House. If a bid package is selected, a Contract will be issued to the chosen contractor. The Town of Abingdon maintains the facility known as Fields Penn House located at 208 West Main Street, Abingdon, The house was built circa 1860 and is currently in need of repointing brick on all 3 exterior walls on the original House of the Fields Penn, front entrance (Main St), Side (Cummins St), side (Municipal Parking Lot) This public body does not discriminate against faith-based organizations in accordance with the Code of Virginia, 11-35.1 or against a bidder because of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other basis prohibited by law relating to discrimination in employment.
