Renovation of a mixed-use development in Littleton, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
Reference Number 0000370944 The District seeks one qualified vendor to submit two pricing options for replacing the auditorium seating at Columbine High School. The Respondent must provide detailed pricing options for both low-grade and mid-grade seating solutions. This project consists of replacing approximately 571 auditorium seats. It will include the removal and installation of new seating meeting ADA. All work must be completed prior to June 30, 2025. Construction Timeline: Construction to begin no earlier than May 24, 2025. Construction and all billing to be completed no later than June 30, 2025 SCOPE OF THE WORK The Contractor will furnish all tools, equipment, machinery, supplies, superintendence, insurance, transportation and other construction accessories, services and facilities specified or required to be incorporated in and form a permanent part of the completed work. In addition, the contractor shall provide and perform all necessary labor in a first class and workmanlike manner and in accordance with the conditions and prices stated in the Bid Proposal and the requirements, stipulations, provisions and conditions of the Contract Documents as defined in the attached General Conditions, said documents forming the contract and being as fully a part thereof as if repeated verbatim herein; perform, execute, construct and complete all things mentioned to be done by the Contractor and all work included in and covered by the Owner's official award of this contract to the Contractor, such award being based on the acceptance by the Owner of the Contractor's bid, or part thereof. This restriction does not apply to District initiated communications to satisfy clarification questions. SCOPE OF WORK This project consists of replacing approximately 571 auditorium seats. It will include the removal and installation of new seating meeting ADA. New seating must comply with current ADA Requirements, including but not limited to: o Proposed 4 wheel chair spaces between the two center sections. o Proposed 2 wheel chair spaces in first row outside of both left and right sections (4 total).o Permanent fixed companion seats to be included in bid (match proposed seating). o Include designated aisle seats as required (1 per seating section, 6 total) Include the required number of ADA seats in the final layout. Maximize the total number of seats. The contractor is responsible for final layout drawings that are to be approved by Jeffco Project Manager. Changes to the existing slab may be required depending on the final layout. Removal of existing seats bolted to the ground requires that the bolts are either removed or flush with the existing concrete. Ardex is acceptable if patching is needed. Carpet is to be protected and remain in place. All work to meet current Jeffco Technical Guidelines. Existing floor plans are not exact, field verification is required
