In accordance with M.G.L. c. 149-Building Construction Contracts, the Town of Freetown, MA is seeking quotations from qualified vendors to supply, install & dispose of existing windows and doors at Fire Station #1 located at 3 Elm Street, Assonet, MA. Project Description: Labor and Materials to remove existing windows and replace them with new windows replicating the existing windows. Vendor will be responsible to remove and dispose of existing windows. The Scope of the work includes the following: 1) Apply for Permits (fees will be waived) 2) Remove existing windows, doors and dispose of appropriately 3) Supply and install eleven (11) windows to match the new Town Hall windows (Harvey PVC Tribute DH Windows, double hung with six (6) upper and six (6) lower panes) and two (2) exterior PVC 6 panel door and frame with new hardware in the rear of the building 4) Includes all PVC Trim on windows and doors 5) 50% Payment Bond if quote is more than $25,000 The Town reserves the right to reject any and all quotes if deemed in the Town's best interest. It is anticipated that the proposed work for this project would start immediately and should be completed no later than May 1, 2025 or such other date that is amendable to Owner and does not interfere with the operation of the fire station.
