Renovation of a residential development in Sweetwater, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Project scope consists of a renovation and repair to the Biggs House which will be divided into two separate scopes of work and bid pricing. 1.) removing the existing paint from the exterior, repairing the existing masonry walls, and repairing and repoint all the masonry joints on the entire perimeter of the existing structure, and 2.)upon completion of all masonry repair the removal of the existingroofing material, including existing metal roofing, existing sheathing, and existing roof framing rafters, and install additional new PressureTreated 2 x 10 roof rafters @ 24" o.c., as well as new PressureTreated 2 x 10 ceiling joists @ 16" o.c., with new 5/8" CDX plywood sheathing installed, and covered with ice and water shield, with asphalt dimensional shingles installed over entire roof area consisting of approximately 1,440 square feet. No Bidder may withdraw his bid until sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality, and to reject any or all bids for any reason duringbid evaluation.
