Site work and paving for a civil project in Valdosta, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

**As of October 16, 2025, this project has been cancelled. The work consists of slip lining ofapproximately 2,200 linear feet of existing city sanitary sewer mains(8" and 10" in diameter), lining ofsewer manholes, associated by- pass pumping, demolition andremoval of debris, adjustment ofmanhole tops, asphalt pavementpatching, and all other relatedwork. This work will be per- formed in coordination with theGDOT street widening project,and in coordination with GDOT'scontractor. This will bea Unit Price Contract, and pay- ments will be made on a monthlybasis with payment to be basedon actual quantities of work mea- sured. The list of items shownin the Unit Price Schedule is in- clusive of all the work shown anddescribed. The contract time is180 calendar days. No bid may be withdrawn for aperiod of thirty (30) days after the scheduled time for receiving the bids. Bids must be accompanied by asigned and notarized non collusive affidavit as well as a signedand notarized Georgia Security& Immigration Compliance affidavit. Bids must be accompanied bya certified check or bid bond in an amount of not less than five(5) percent of the amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond equal to one hundred (100) percent of the contractprice will be required. If bid priceis $25,000.00 or less no bonds are required. The successful bidder, being re- sponsible as well as responsive,shall commence work with anadequate force and equipment on a date specified in a writtenorder of the City Engineer andcomplete the work within the time specified under the Special Conditions section of these specifications.
