The vendor shall supply all labour, material, equipment, and supervision necessary to undertake a comprehensive Snow Melt / In Ground Heating condition assessment, assigning Asset Condition Index values, and completion of a report documenting all findings and recommendations for the specified list of Bus maintenance facilities under the ownership of Metrolinx. Snow Melt Systems are used to transfer heat to bus facilities surfaces at all over- head doors outside areas. The In Ground Heating systems are used inside the bus facilities at the repair and storage areas. The systems use water / glycol for heat transfer from the boiler. It includes small circulating pumps, heat exchanger and four (4) way modulating valve. The entire glycol cycling system includes but not limited to glycol storage tanks, small circulating pumps, flex-pipes embedded in the concrete to heat the concrete surfaces, manifold pits, and boilers. Metrolinx reserves the right to reject any or all Submissions at its sole discretion Official bid documents must be obtained from www.metrolinx.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
