Citywide Comprehensive Safety Action Plan The City is seeking a qualified consultant to develop a Citywide Comprehensive Safety Action Plan (Plan), NonCIP No. 30060, for the City of Pico Rivera. The Plan will identify and prioritize safety improvement projects and recommend safety policy/programs for future implementation. Services shall include, but are not limited to research, field reviews, mapping, data collection, collision analysis, plan development, graphic design and visualizations, project implementation and prioritization, and community outreach. The Plan will set the framework for improving roadway safety by significantly reducing or eliminating the number of roadway fatalities and injuries in Pico Rivera. This project should address safety for all users including those driving, walking, biking and rolling. Through collaboration with local stakeholders and community members, as well as guidance from FHWA's Safe System approach and SS4A's Action Plan Components, this project will develop a comprehensive safety action plan. The Plan will serve as a guide for the construction of future projects and implementation of safety programs/policies.
