Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pico Rivera, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

SCOPE OF WORK. The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. The Contract Documents consist of the Contract, the Notice Inviting Bids, Instructions to Bidders, Bid Proposal (including documentation accompanying the Bid Proposal and any post-Bid Proposal documentation submitted before the Notice of Award), the Bonds, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, General Provisions, Special Provisions, Plans, Standard Plans, Standard Specifications, Reference Specifications, Addenda, Change Orders, and Supplemental Agreements. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. Bidders are required to post their questions or equivalent material substitutions on the System prior to 4:00 pm on May 14, 2025 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The location and existence of any underground Utility or substructure has not been obtained. The methods used and costs involved to locate existing elements, points of connection and all construction methods are the Contractor's sole responsibility. Accuracy of information furnished, as to existing conditions, is not guaranteed by the City. The Contractor, at its sole expense, must make all investigations necessary to determine locations of existing elements, which may include contacting Underground Service Alert and other private underground locating firm(s), utilizing specialized locating equipment, hand trenching, or both. For every Dig Alert Identification Number issued by Underground Service Alert during the course of the Project, the Contractor must submit to the City the following form. The Contractor shall be responsible for preserving the integrity of the existing underground utilities at the site.
