Renovations to Fieldhouse at Fox Park The proposed project consists of the renovation of the existing field house at Fox Park including site work, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering 90 Working Days Schedule Related Liquidated Damages: $100.00 per day Estimated Cost $344,862.10 The Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and the Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) (together the M/WBE) participation goal for this Letting is 24% MBE participation distributed as follows: 21% African American, 2% Hispanic American, 0.5% Asian American, and 0.5% Native American plus 11% WBE participation. M/WBE participation level is based on the base bid and any alternates accepted. The work includes: - Spot tuck-pointing of the exterior masonry wall around the field house, - Removing and replacing existing flat roofs and improving roofs' drainage system, - Providing ADA compliant access from public sidewalk to the building along with removing and replacing sidewalk on Ohio Avenue, - Replacing all metal door frames and replacing all exterior doors with FRP doors, - Removing and re-glazing all windows with plexiglass, - Repair of interior and exterior plaster ceilings and bulkheads, - Tearing down wall between women's and men's shower rooms and converting shower rooms to a classroom. Additionally, removing all CMU partition walls, toilet accessories, other plumbing fixtures, and existing lockers in shower rooms, - Installing new flooring in the proposed classroom. This may require demolition of the existing sloped floors in order to have a level floor, - Removing and replacing all interior and exterior lights with new LED surface mounted luminaires, - Installing new heating and cooling system for the new classroom, - Providing electrical power upgrades to the new classroom, - Removing and replacing existing toilet fixtures in women's and men's restrooms with ADA compliant toilet fixtures including electrical hand dryers, hand soaps, toilet paper dispensers, water closets, urinals (for Men's), and lavatories, - Providing mechanical ventilation for toilet rooms.
