Dakota County seeks to enter into contract to develop a long-range plan for the Mississippi River Greenway from St Paul to Prairie Island Indian Community. Dakota County has completed the current planned trail component of the greenway from South St Paul to Hastings and is in preliminary design for a 6-mile connection between Hastings and Prairie Island Indian Community. The overall goal is to develop a greenway plan that meets current regional and County greenway requirements incorporating the many public values greenways provide. The plan will include a public engagement process and project management team (PMT) composed of key community stakeholders. Unlike some of our previous greenway plans we do not anticipate a significant engineering role since trail is existing and condition meets our current requirements. Questions Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by email and must be received no later than 01/08/24. Anticipated Contract Start Date: 04/2025 7. Contract End Date: 06/2026 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. County staff reserves the right to: o Reject any or all proposals if such action is in the public interest;
