Site work for a water / sewer project in State College, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project involves redirecting storm water away from a sinkhole at 685 Westerly Parkway to the Westerly Parkway Stormwater Facility and abandoning the storm water pipes supplying the sinkhole. The project also involves the demolition of a small cinder block garage and conducting an exploratory excavation to examine the substrate under the garage. There will be engineering involved to observe and document the excavation. We will reimburse the property owner for the cost of the garage. This project is included in the city's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As January 3, 2025, information regarding design firm and general contractor has not been released. The completion timeline has is scheduled for December 31, 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
