Consider authorizing a contract with Crossland Heavy Contractors, Inc. to construct the Blue River Main Wastewater Treatment Facility Phase 2 Improvements Project (BRM1-Contract 13) in the amount of $12,363,750. _______________________________________________________________________________ This Project comprises the following major items of work: Replacement of 2 existing bar screens and addition of washer/compactors in the Influent Pump Station (IPS). Replacement of 2 existing grit classifiers, process piping and fittings in the Grit Building. Replacement of existing Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Equipment in the DAF Tank, as well as replacement of pumps, saturation tank, air compressors, and various instrumentation on the DAF/Rotary Drum Thickener (RDT) Building. Replacement of the existing Chemical Scrubber Odor Control system with a new dual Carbon Adsorption Odor Control unit. Rehabilitation of the existing Unthickened Waste Activated Sludge (UWAS) Storage Tank. Replacement of existing Plant Effluent Water (PEW) System. Replacement of 3 existing Wet Weather Pumps in the IPS. All associated gates, valves, HVAC, electrical, instrumentation/controls, sitework, and pavement repairs related to items 1-7 above.
