Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Olathe, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Full depth asphalt pavement and subgrade replacement, replacement of concrete curb and gutters, installation of sidewalk, driveway approaches, streetlight installation, and stormwater improvements. The project limits for Phase 2 are Hamilton Circle just east of the railroad track to just west of Public Safety Drive. The project limits also include Public Safety Drive from Old US 56 to Hamilton Circle. A satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder or an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid for work shall be submitted with each proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds. Bids may be held by the City of Olathe, Kansas, for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
