Aging Facilities - Multiple Projects: Interior Doors; Exterior Doors; and Exterior Doors and Windows As part of our Summer 2025 Capital Improvement Project, Olathe Public Schools plans to award contracts for multiple projects to address Aging Facilities across our district. Projects include Interior Door Slab and Hardware Replacements; Exterior Door, Frame and Hardware Replacements; and Exterior Door, Frame, Hardware and Window Replacements. If you are providing a cost for the combined scopes of work (Scopes A, B, & C), but would also like to be considered for each individual scope section, please be sure to ALSO complete each of the three individual Scope sections. Include any discounts you are offering for the Combined Scope award. Olathe Public Schools reserves the right to award to multiple contractors; awards will be determined based on the lowest submitted cost of each scope of work, or on the total cost of all scopes of work combined, in the event that some or all contractors bid on all three scopes of work. A Bid Bond is REQUIRED for bids totaling $50,000 or more. Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to "Unified School District No. 233". Cash bonds will not be accepted. Bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages in the amount of $1,000 per calendar day if project is delayed beyond the contracted completion date. Bid Result.
